Under the Chief Minister Solar Pump Scheme, Madhya Pradesh, a maximum of 90 percent subsidy is being given by the Central Government and the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Under this scheme, priority will be given to those farmers of the state who do not have electricity development, where there is no permanent connection for agricultural pumps and where the commercial loss of power companies is high, and transformers have been removed and where the distance of the farm is not electricity. It is more than 300 meters from the line of the river, or there should be such places near the dam where water is available in sufficient quantity, and due to the selection of crops, where the need for water pumping is more. Under this Madhya Pradesh Solar Pump Scheme 2023, instead of diesel pumps, solar pumps will be installed by the government for irrigation of fields.
