Description : The scheme provides a monthly pension of ₹1500 to widows belonging to Below Poverty Line Households. The applicant should age between 40 - 65 years and domiciled in Maharashtra.Eligibility : The applicant for this is a widow woman belonging to Below Poverty Line Household. The applicant should age between 40 - 65 years and domiciled in Maharashtra.Process : 1. Approach either local Talathi office or block/ district office of Social Justice and Special Assistance Department. 2. Avail the form and submit two photocopies of it with documents mentioned below. 3. List of final beneficiaries will be put out in the office where application was done. 4. The money is transferred to beneficiary’s bank or post account. The department will suggest opening of a bank account if you do not have one already.

*Forms can also be availed at any Xerox center near tehsilldar’s office or SETU office in your village/taluka. If the applicant is submitting the forms at the SETU office, he/she will have to submit all documents and the form in a file. This entire file is digitized by the SETU office
