Cheyutha pension scheme for Disabled

Description : Asara Pensions are a social security net for the disadvantaged provided by the Telangana government. This scheme provides a monthly pension of Rs. 6000 for disabled people irrespective of age. The earlier amount has been enhanced to Rs 6000 because of the cost of living and inflation. This scheme provides substantial financial benefits to the needy to live dignified livesEligibility : 1. Any age (Incase of minors, the pension will be given to parents) 2. Disability greater than 40 % as per SADAREM Certificate 3. In case of Hearing impaired, the minimum disability should be 51%. 4. Should belong to BPL category (Income limit is Rs 1,50,000 for rural areas and Rs 2,00,000 for urban areas)Process : 1. Applications have to be submitted to Gram Panchayat or Mandal MPDO 2. Gram Panchayat Secretary / Village Revenue Officer in the rural area and Bill Collector: in the Urban area will receive an application 3. MPDO will assess received applications and the poorest of the poor are identified from amongst the verified list covering all social categories such as the SC, ST, BC, and OC communities and are strictly covered in that order. 4. The beneficiaries who are sanctioned pension will receive pension amounts in their bank accounts.

Praja Palana Application Process

  1. For Rural- Collect the application form from the Panchayat office.
  2. For Urban- Collect the application form from the municipal office.
  3. Fill all the necessary details in the application form.
  4. Attach, Aadhar card and Ration card of the applicant with the application form
  5. Submit the application form to the concerned officer
  6. Collect the Acknowledgement copy from the officer.Benefit : Rs. 6000 per month
