Description: The scheme aims to encourage entrepreneurs in the food and agriculture sectors by providing skill-based training and financial linkage for business development. Priority will be given to projects that are environment-friendly, with emphasis on energy conservation and export-oriented and help in getting bank loans of up to Rs.5.00 lakh for business start-up. Capital subsidy will be given up to a maximum of Rs.2.00 lakh or 40% of the project estimate.20% of the project estimate will be the entrepreneur’s contribution.
