Description : This scheme Provides a grant to Scheduled Castes(SC) farmers to build wells, for well repairs, in-well boring, pump set, establish a power connection and provide tarpaulin sheets for farmlands. Applicants are required to apply online to the agriculture department and the beneficiaries are selected through a lottery. This scheme is currently applicable in all districts except Mumbai, Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Satara, Sangli and Kolhapur.Eligibility : 1. Should be a resident of Maharashtra 2. Should belong to Scheduled Caste 3. Should be a farmer 4. Should not belong to the districts : Mumbai, Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Satara, Sangli and Kolhapur. 5. Should have annual income less than ₹ 150000 6. The landholding of the beneficiary must be between 0.20 hectare to 6 hectare (minimum 0.40 hectare for new well).Process : *Scheme announcement will be done by the Zilla Parishad office *Each year, there will be an advertisement for opening applications from the beneficiaries *Beneficiaries of the schemes will be selected through a lottery
- The application will have to be filled up online through https://mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in/Farmer/Login/Login
- If applicant already has an account on the MahaDBT portal, he should enter the login credentials and click on the “Login” button.
- If applicant doesn’t have an account, then click on the “New Registration” button and create an account.
- Once applicant has logged in, the application form is to be filled with all the necessary details, such as personal details, land details, bank details, etc.
- Upload all the required documents.
- Submit the application form to the Block Development Officer.
- After submitting the application, applicant can track the status of the application on the MahaDBT portal.
