Description : To meet the requirement of planting material (for bringing additional area under improved varieties of horticultural crops and for rejuvenation programme for old/senile plantations), assistance will be provided for setting up new hi-tech nurseries and small nurseries under the Public as well as Private sector. The plants produced will be duly certified for their quality. Under the scheme 40% credit-linked backend subsidy will be given to eligible farmers for setting up different kinds of nursery.Eligibility : 1. Must be resident of Uttar Pradesh 2. Must be above 18 years of age. 3. Must be a farmer. 4. Must own agricultural land.Process : 1. The farmer has to register online at http://dbt.uphorticulture.in/# by entering the district name, farmer name, mobile number and Aadhar number. 2. After registration, the farmer can log in using the district name, Aadhar number/Login ID and password. 3. Complete the details for the farmer profile and upload a copy of the bank passbook, Aadhar card, farmer photo and land record. 4. Enter details of land record and bank account. 5. Select scheme name ‘MIDH’, the program “Small nursery or Hi-tech nursery” and submit details. 6. Once completed, the District horticulture office will contact the farmer to make full payment as per the project cost. 7.
