Description : 20+1 sheep/goat units will be provided to economically backward members of the sheep and wool producers cooperative societies at a unit cost of ₹1,75,000/-.Eligibility : 1. Resident of Karnataka State 2. Above 18 years and should be a Shepherd 3. A minimum of 1000 square feet of space should be available 4. Should be a member of the Sheep & Wool Cooperative Society 5. Applicant should have registered under:
a) FRUITS
b) NeML Marketing Platform (Online) 6. One family, only one applicant.Process : 1. Applicant has to visit their Taluk Animal Husbandry Department Office 2. Get and fill out the application form with the required documents 3. Benefciary selection will be finalised by the selection Committee chaired by ZP CEO, District Assistant Director of Animal Husbandry department, District Manager - lead bank, District Implementation officer of sheep & wool development corporationBenefit : Unit cost of ₹1,75,000/- per shepherd
