Description : This scheme provides financial assistance up to ₹200000 to produce seedlings through coconut nurseries by the private sector and individual organizations. Based on the production capacity, the financial subsidy is determined by the coconut development board. The subsidy amount is provided in two installments.Eligibility : 1. Should be a resident of Karnataka 2. Should own/have leased some land for the establishment of a nursery.Process : 1. Download the application form online through the Coconut Development Board’s website or visit the nearest horticulture department office for the application form. 2. Fill the application form with all the necessary documents. 3. Once the application is submitted, it will reach the CDB office in Bengaluru regional office and field inspection will be undertaken by the horticulture office. 4. After the approval by the horticulture department, CDB will sanction the subsidy to the beneficiary’s bank account.Benefit : 25% of the project cost or up to ₹200000 subsidy
