Description : The Gram Panchayat issues an MNREGA job card by providing at least 100 days of wage employment in a financial year to every household whose adult members volunteer to do unskilled manual work. The MGNREGA wage rate varies from state to state per day for 100 days of work.Eligibility : 2. The age of the beneficiary should be more than 18 years.Process : 1. Go to Gram Panchayat, submit a written application on a plain paper or using Form 1 stating that you are willing to work. Attach your photo with the application form in order to make a Job card. Or an oral application can also be given. 2.The Gram Panchayat will verify the application on the basis of: i) local domicile (ii) All household members applying for registration are adult. *No discrimination should be made in registration in terms of caste, creed, gender. 3.The Gram Panchayat will issue a Job Card to the household as a whole. This should normally be within 15 days of registration of application. 5.Each Job Card will bear a unique registration number for a household.Benefit : Per day wage upto 100 days of employment will be provided under MGNREGA
