Description : ‘Ratooning’ is an integral part of sugarcane cultivation practiced in most of the sugarcane-growing farmers. They offer several advantages and hence managing them scientifically could help derive the full benefits of the ratoons. Under the sugarcane development scheme, 50% of the total cost per hectare subsidy is given to Ratoon Management.Eligibility : 1. State of the resident should be Uttarpradesh 2. Applicant should be cultivating sugarcane crop 3. Age should be above 18 yearsProcess : 1. Applicant needs to visit the district sugarcane development council 2. Collect the application form and fill out the required details 3. Attach all the necessary documents and submit them to the district sugarcane development council 4. District sugarcane development council will screen the applications and select the farmer for subsidy.Benefit : 50% of the total cost or maximum of rupees Rs. 150 per hectare
