Under this scheme, a provision has been made to give exemption from fees in higher education for the students of the families living below the poverty line of the general category.

1.Where both students are eligible. 2.For general category students, it is mandatory for the annual family income to be less than Rs 42000. (Income certificate issued by the Tehsildar of the concerned district) 3. For higher education, it is necessary to have passed 12th examination in first division from graduation school in government/aided institution in traditional course. It is mandatory for the student to enter higher education in the same year in which he/she has passed class 12th.
