Description : The main aim of this Kusum Yojana is to provide farmers with advanced clean technology to generate power. This scheme will benefit to assist farmers in irrigation and will also allow farmers to generate safe energy. Under PM KUSUM Yojana, farmers, Water Use Associations and community/cluster based irrigation systems are eligible to plant a solar pump. The government will provide a subsidy of up to 90 to 95% of the cost. Farmers will only have to give 5-10% of the total cost of the project.Eligibility : 1. State of Resident = Maharashtra 2.
