Description : The traditional artisans and craftspeople working in the unorganised sector can get end-to-end holistic support to scale-up their operations, modernize/upgrade their tools and business, and enter the formal economy as entrepreneur. The entrepreneur will receive Toolkit Incentive as a grant up to Rs 15,000. This is provided through e-RUPI/ e-vouchers after under-going Skill Verification at the stage of Basic Training.Eligibility : 1. An artisan or craftsperson working with hands and tools and engaged in family-based traditional trades, in unorganized sector on self-employment basis 2. The minimum age of the beneficiary should be 18 years on the date of registration. 3. The beneficiary should be engaged in the trade concerned on the date of registration and should not have availed loans* under similar credit-based schemes of Central Government or State Government for self-employment/ business development, e.g. PMEGP, PM SVANidhi, Mudra, in the past 5 years (calculated from the date of sanction of the loan) *However, those who have repaid PM SVANidhi or Mudra loans can apply *A person who has availed PMEGP loan cannot apply for PM Vishwakarma 4. The registration and benefits under the Scheme shall be restricted to one member of the family (family consists of husband, wife and unmarried children) 5. - Registration can be done only through a Common Service Centre (CSC).
2a) The applicant has to carry required documents (Aadhar card, Ration card, Mobile number linked to Aadhar, and Savings Bank Account number) to the CSC and apply for PM Vishwakarma

After successful application, there is first-stage verification performed by the Gram Panchayat or Urban Local Body (offline mode). After the successful verification, there is second-stage verification by District Implementation Committee (online mode). Next, the Screening Committee has to approve the application (online mode) at third-stage.
