Description : The scheme provides financial assistance to the disabled students studying at pre-matriculation stage to enable them to complete their education. Eligibility : An applicant:

1. Must be studying in class 9 or class 10.
2. Must be having more than 40% disability and must have a valid certificate for the same.
3. Must belong to the family where annual income is not more than ₹250000 from all the sources. 4.Must not be receiving benefits under any other schemes/scholarship/stipend.

• not more than 2 disabled children of same parent are eligible Process : 1. Applicant have to apply for the scheme through the National scholarship Portal. The link given below : https://scholarships.gov.in/

2. After opening the link, the applicant must register.
3. It is mandatory to provide information about AADHAR and Bank Account.
4. Once the login ID and password are generated, fill the application form.
5. Applicant will then be shown the schemes for which he/she is eligible.
6. After a scheme is selected, upload the required documents and submit the final application form.

Note:

1. Application open in July to November
2. 50% of the seats will be reserved for girls.
3. Scholarship will not be given to more than two students from a family.
4. The benefit under the scheme is eligible only if the percentage of disability is greater than 40% as per medical certificate.Benefit : Scholarship upto ₹14600
