2. Organizing minikits helps in variety selection based on crop yield and quality for different climatic regions of Rajasthan.
3. Farmers belonging to weaker sections are benefited through minikit.

Eligibility • Minikit is distributed on priority to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, small and marginal and farmers living below the poverty line. Minute distribution is to be done by collecting 10 percent of the total cost in the form of token money from the farmer. Minikit is to be given in the name of the woman, even if the land is in the name of the woman’s husband / father / father-in-law. A woman will be given only one pack of minikits. • Minutes cannot be given in the name of different farmer female members of the same farming family. • If scheduled caste, scheduled caste farmers are not available in a gram panchayat, then Minikit distribution can be done among women farmers of general category. • For minikits, farmers who have not been benefited in the minikit program in the last three years should be selected. • Priority should be given to farmers with irrigation facilities.

Application Process • Through the Agricultural Supervisor of the concerned Gram Panchayat in the office of Assistant Director Agricultural Extension. • The list of eligible women for selection should be made village-wise in consultation with the sarpanch of Gram Panchayat and other elected public representatives by the Agriculture Supervisor. • List of women farmers eligible for selection should be made 3 times more than the target by the agricultural supervisor and the eligible women should be selected by lottery method.
