The Government of Odisha is inviting online application form of Soura Jalnidhi Yojana on the official website of odishasolarpump.nic.in. Interested farmers can apply for solar agricultural water pump at 90 per cent concessional rate by filling up the DBT Jalnidhi Yojana online registration form on the Odisha Solar Pump Portal. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched the Solar JalNidhi Scheme on November 30, 2018 to increase the use of solar energy in agriculture and farmers’ empowerment. The state government has now announced an ambitious scheme to supply 5,000 solar-powered agricultural pumps to encourage farmers under the Solar Fund Scheme and reduce the state’s burden on subsidies.
Eligibility Criteria for Soura Jalnidhi Yojana
- All small and marginal farmers must have valid farmer identity cards.
- Farmers should have a minimum of 0.5 acres of agricultural land.
- On the basis of online application, implementation will be done as per the management process of ORDDA.
- More information will be provided as per the deposit/transfer of the farmer’s share.

- After reaching the homepage, click the “Apply online” link or https://odishasolarpump.nic.in/applyonline
- It will then display a message “Farmers are requested to register themselves on the Go-Sugam portal sugam.odisha.gov.in to avail subsidies for agricultural machinery, manuals and bullock drawing equipment, DBT Jalnidhi, Saura Jalnidhi.”
