Description : The scheme provides financial assistance to the students studying in Class 9 & Class10 and belongs to the minority community. The scholarship encourages parents from minority communities to send their children to school, lighten their financial burden on school education and sustain their efforts to support their children to complete school education by providing assistance upto ₹10700/annumEligibility : 1. Applicants must belong to a minority community as notified by the Government of India. These include Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Zoroastrians (Parsis) and Jains. 2. The candidates must be studying in class 9 or class 10 in a government or private school. 3. Students applying for this scholarship should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the previous final examination. 4. The annual family income of the candidate’s parents/guardian should not exceed ₹100000. This annual income comprises of total income from all the sources.Process : 1. Applicant have to apply for the scheme through the National scholarship Portal. The link given below : https://scholarships.gov.in/ 2. After opening the link, the applicant must register. 3. It is mandatory to provide information about AADHAR and Bank Account. 4. Once the login ID and password are generated, fill the application form. 5. Applicant will then be shown the schemes for which he/she is eligible. 6. After a scheme is selected, upload the required documents and submit the final application form. Note: 1. Application open in July to November 2. 50% of the seats will be reserved for girls. 3. Scholarship will not be given to more than two students from a family.Benefit : Assistance upto ₹10700 per year
