Description : A Disable person in the age group of 18 to 79 years and having at least 80% disability is eligible under this Scheme. The applicant is entitled to receive ₹ 300 per month under the central scheme. The applicant also receives ₹ 1200 per month under State sponsored Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Anudan Yojana. Therefore, the total monthly pension received by the beneficiary is ₹1500.Eligibility : The applicant for this scheme is a person with Disability (Minimum 80% disability), whose age is Above 18 and below 79 years. the applicant also belongs to the BPL family and is a resident of Maharashtra for at least 15 years or more.Process : Disability of 80% according to the medical certificate is eligible for this scheme

1. Approach either local Talathi office or block/ district office of Social Justice and Special Assistance Department.
2. Avail the form and submit two photocopies of it with documents mentioned below.
3. List of final beneficiaries will be put out in the office where application was done.
4. The money is transferred to the beneficiary’s bank or post account. The department will suggest the opening of a bank account if you do not have one already.

*In some districts, like Osmanabad, it is mandatory for the applicant to have a toilet at his/her home to avail the benefits of this scheme *Forms can also be availed at any Xerox center near tehsildar’s office or SETU office in your village/taluka. If the applicant is submitting the forms at the SETU office, he/she will have to submit all documents and the form in a file. This entire file is digitized by the SETU office.
