Description : Financial assistance in the form of a grant will be provided to farmers to purchase equipment related to Drip irrigation and Sprinkler Irrigation.Eligibility : 1. Must be resident of Uttar Pradesh. 2. Applicant must have irrigation source. 3. Applicant must have land. 4. Applicant should be 18 years of age or above.Process : 1.Register for the scheme from the Portal https://upmip.in/upmip/Page/RegGenFarmer.aspx 2. While registering the applicant will also have to choose the irrigation system installer company. 3. The applicant will deposit his share based on the type of irrigation(drip/sprinkler) selection. 4. The service provider will install the irrigation system. 5. In case agriculture land have joint ownership then a consent form is required 6. After inspection of the system the subsidy amount will be given to the applicant through DBT.Benefit : Subsidy upto 80% of the total cost of irrigation system
