Description : This scheme provides financial assistance to farmers belonging to Scheduled Tribe for sustainable irrigation facilities like new well, old well repairing, farm pond, micro irrigation and electric connection for these facilities. This scheme extended by the Maharashtra state Agriculture Department can be availed by applying online on the MahaDBT portal. Scheme beneficiaries are selected through a lottery.Eligibility : 1, Should be a resident of Maharashtra 2. Should belong to Scheduled Tribe 3. Should be a farmer 4. Should have annual income less than ₹ 150000 5. The landholding of the beneficiary must be between 0.20 hectare to 6 hectare (minimum 0.40 hectare for new well). 6. Should not belong to the districts : Mumbai, Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Satara, Sangli and Kolhapur.Process : *Scheme announcement will be done by the Zilla Parishad office *Each year, there will be an advertisement for opening applications from the beneficiaries

1. The application will have to be filled up online through https://mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in/Farmer/Login/Login
2. If applicant already have an account on the MahaDBT portal, enter your login credentials and click on the “Login” button. If applicant don’t have an account, click on the “New Registration” button and create an account.
3. Once applicant have logged in, fill in the application form with all the necessary details, such as personal details, land details, bank details, etc.
4. Upload all the required documents.
5. Submit the application form.
6. After submitting the application, applicant can track the status of the application on the MahaDBT portal.
7. In few districts, after filling the application form online, applicants should print the application form and submit it to the Agriculture Officer of the concerned Panchayat Samiti along with the required documents from the website.Benefit : ₹ 500 - ₹ 250000 financial assistance for creating irrigation facility
